When working with charts and tables, you can control the formatting of dates and numbers.
With charts, you can additionally control the minimum, maximum, and steps in the scale, and whether to use a logarithmic scale. For more information, please see Axis and Scale Labels Formatting.
To format numbers in a chart or table
- Click to select the numbers that you want to format. The Format section of the Design toolbar is enabled.
- In the Design toolbar, you can click Increase Decimal or Decrease Decimal to change the number of zeros shown after the decimal point.
- Drop down the box at the top of the Format section of the toolbar to select from common numeric formats (or common date formats if your value is a date), or select Other to create a custom format.
